After 18 months of rehabilitation on the right shoulder.

I had a lot of work a head of me. As I wanted to continue the things I loved. Playing music and painting/illustrating.

These passions are my life.

Some days I go through shaking hands, but I don’t let it stop

In an effort to help myself heal. I decided that I will challenge myself to complete one painting per week.
This mission started a little over a month ago.

When you go though surgery a lot can happen. (Not only in a physical aspect, but a mental one as well.) a lot of self doubt can creep into your mind.
You second-guess things, wondering if you’ll ever be the same.

I believe the more you do something the better you become at finding ways around (so-called) road blocks.
So I promised myself, one painting per week.
I always found a self imposed deadline, coupled with work ethic will get it done.

The first painting was rough, noticed my lines were not clean. (Due to my hand shaking here and there.)
So, I developed little tricks to stop my hand from shaking long enough to get a clean line. That was an amazing feeling!!!

Not every day is a walk in the park. I found myself wanted to just toss the canvas and say forget it. As frustration would kick in if I couldn’t get the lines right.  I did power through it!

If I get stuck, just means I have to figure out a new way to get the job done.

So far I have completed 7 pieces and counting.

I do want to thank all of you for the amazing support and great words.
Everyone has been kind and that to me is priceless.

Please do your best to see things from a different angle and shake things up.

We all have our battles, let’s conquer them together!!!

Peace & Blessings
